Absolutely brilliant customer service recieved from the staff at Ostles today. Was given their number by someone after I picked up a puncture whilst helping a mate on Race Across Scotland Ultra Marathon. They had the tyre I needed in Stock and fitted me in this afternoon to change it when they were clearly already busy. Really can't thank you all enough getting me back on the road so quick, and of course for correcting my use of the work Lake.....of course its Loch 🤣
Ostles found the fault where others failed. Mercedes SLC 200. My front nearside tyre was constantly losing pressure. Took it to a main franchise dealer but they couldn’t find anything wrong and so just reseated the tyre on the rim. It was no better. Then took it to another specialist tyre workshop in Galashiels. They said that the rim itself was corroded allowing air to escape where the tyre met the rim. They recommended I have the rims refurbished. So I did this at a cost of £325.
