While the Osteria de Assisi cuisine is gourmet in preparation and presentation, the entrees are big and hearty. A local favorite is the Ravioli Di Vitello con Funghi, a veal-filled house-made pasta, swimming in a wild mushroom cream sauce.

A bad experience – I hate to be one of those people who just has a bad experience and brings down the rating of the restaurant by giving them zero stars. But I must say that this one was well deserved. The food was fair. But it was not good enough to justify the price. The lady who showed my date and I to our table was extremely rude. Bad service, cold food, after effects - Do not go there – On Jul 3, 2007 while the food was excellent, we were basically thrown out of there by being asked to move to the bar right after dinner while being in conversation with our neighboring table (we spoke in soft, low voices). We are non-drinkers. On Aug 31, 2007 we were served our food within 1 minute after ordering. It had obviously been sitting out as it was only lukewarm.
