Great food. Great service by Stephanie! Highly recommend.
The pasta was fresh and the lamb was flavorful, although quite pricey. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant, this isn't it. The meat was served with a butter knife. The second helping of bread was switched from the fresh inhouse pizza dough, to a Costco-style cold baguette and the water glass was left dry for the majority of the meal. We had to wait so long for a server to come to our table that we entirely gave up on dessert (over 30 mins). We are unsure why they're rated so highly .
I had a wonderful experience at Osteria Aventino. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and inviting, making it a great spot for a nice evening out. The food was excellent, fresh, flavourful, beautifully prepared, and you can really appreciate the attention to detail in each dish. What stood out just as much was the service.
