This might be a long one, but is so so necessary and should serve as a warning. DISCLAIMER - I love the Cleveland Clinic health system but he needs to be re-evaluated ASAP. On May 14, 2024 my father had an FNA biopsy of 2 thyroid nodules. This procedure was ordered urgently by Dr. Ossama Lashin. my dad drove same day from Lashin’s office in Lorain to Solon to have this procedure done. We heard nothing from Dr. Lashin office even though we were told the doctor would call either Friday or Monday (latest). We received no phone ... read more
There have been several times where it was very difficult to get test results back and instruction regarding medication dosage change. I had to continuously call. There were also several times orders were not put in for blood work.
My first visit, he was very nice. However, my last visit he seemed very rude. I dismissed it as he was not feeling well. I should have taken that as a clue to his real personality. Further communications with him was downright traumatic! Never again. No one deserves to be disrespected, especially by someone you put your trust in.
he's an amazing doctor all the bad reviews is just some guy making more than one account and saying the same thing. but overall he's very nice an genuine.
Very arrogant!! Terrible bedside manner. Would never recommend him to anyone. I don’t even feel he deserves the one star I am giving
Dr. Lashin was my endocrinologist when I was first diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (2015). On my first appt. he was very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. Granted, he was not 'bubbly', but was as kind as can be. He gave me an entire 45 min of his day to discuss any questions I had about my diagnosis, treatment, as well as odd questions about physiology that I had. I am very pleased with Dr. Lashin, and will likely reestablish with him when I return to the area. He brings results.
I'm very picky about doctors and bedside manners. I'm sorry to say this doctor was condescending and not comforting at all. I felt stupid when I left my appointment. I highly DO NOT recommend him!
I had to wait more than 3 months for an urgent appointment. He was rude, uncaring and arrogant. I did not go back. My husband was with me and was surprised by this doctors abrupt and unfriendly behavior. There are many other good endocrinologists in Cleveland. I do not recommend this guy at all
I'd give zero starts if I could. He made assumptions of both my medical history and my knowledge, treats based on future possibilities instead of facts in front of him, and overall has a bad beside manner. Do not see him if you are overweight or obese. Despite high glucose numbers, he insists on the lowest possible medications along with diet and exercise, even though my diet is great and I exercise daily.
