This is the condition of Oso Pool as of yesterday, 5/25/26. 3 children within my group had cut feet from the pool floor. The life guards were amazing in assisting with cleaning the cuts. There was overgrown weeds within the pool area and the amount of debris floating in the pool and settled at the bottom is unacceptable. I also messaged the parks and rec fb page and while they were quick to respond I have not had an update.
Awesome pool area with small fountain and shallow end for kids. Also has a playground outside. And it's free! It's blocked from wind by neighboring houses, and even has a deeper section with lane lines for lap swim. This park is a little hidden gem! The pool does show it's age, but it's a great place to bring kids and hang out! My only recommendation for parks and rec would be to get the bird and bird poop situation around the pool deck a little better controlled. Says open yet drive all the way over and they're closed. Someone fix this.
