We had dinner here on a cold night and got to try their three different hotpot soup bases, which were miso (umami flavor), tomato and sukiyaki (sweeter flavor). Each set comes with a good amount of vegetables, udon, rice, and your choice of protein. All of the meat options were very fresh and flavorful. We really enjoyed the dipping sauces which included the ponzu and peanut sauce. Definitely give them a try if you’re in the Pasadena area. Pro tip: They have great deals for lunch or different sets available.
This place has been in Pasadena for over 10 years now. My dad and I came here and got the feast for 2. Super filling!! You get to pick an appetizer and drink, then 2 soup bases. You end with a dessert. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They help you bag up anything you are taking home. This place is family friendly or solo dining friendly too. They have deals for both. High quality meat + lots of veggies which I like.
