Dishonest and a liar! Do NOT trust this place with your car!!! He screwed up the work on our car; then lied about doing it but when he was caught in the lie he then offered to pay for some of the work at another shop. When it came time to pay he refused.
Rescued us while we were stranded on the highway with a horse trailer filled with horses.
I wish I would have found these reviews sooner. The shop is a ripoff. I needed to have a brake line replaced but once Oscars had my car they said they would not do the repair without replacing the entire rear brake system and doing repairs totally unrelated to the brakes. They also hit me a hefty sum for for towing both ways. Don't go here. No place else will be as bad.
Worst experience ever! Oscar is awful.. save yourself the trouble go somewhere else. He is rude and disrespectful and is a scamming conartist!!
Traveling through and car just shut off called for a tow truck and found oscar's auto they took us there it was just before a holiday and we were trying to make it home. they could of told us anything and i would have believed it and paid it. come to find out the oil sending unit went bad and the computer thought there was no oil in engine so it shut it off to save engine they checked it out and found thats all it was one hour later and 80 bucks were on the road!!!! thank you so much will definately reccommend.
Swindled. On drive from Tennessee to Florida, car broke down and towed to Oscars Auto Center, Ocala, Fl. He replaced the fuel pump, with an OLD, USED one. It was so old, the part no. is almost worn off. Drove 20 miles and car broke down again. I took it to another garage to fix it right. Now, he will not refund me, nor will he do anything about it. Don't let happen, what happened to me. I got swindled. He is probably laughing all the way to the bank.
after reading reviews was hesitant to take in to Oscar but price was too good to pass up---car was completed exactly on time and is working great---he replaced drive belts, timing belt, water pump and gave me all the old parts---He and his crew were extremely efficient and beyond nice. Would definitely go back there again and recomment to others. J
I took my car to Oscar's for an a/c job on my dodge stratus I was quoted a price over the phone and when I dropped my car they said it would be done the same day. I was leary because there were so many cars there but they did have it done and for the same price I was quoted. very happy and I recomend that shop!
To start, the car was not finished on time. After getting the car home, we realized the "new" parts were not new at all and were being held together with DUCTAPE! The car broke down again the very next day.Terrible ethic, terrible service. DO NOT take your vehicle here!
