I cannot recommend Dr. Lu and his nurse practitioner, Lou Herr, highly enough. Dr. Lu is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to look at all aspects of a problem. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. Lou Herr is equally amazing. She really took her time explaining everything to me and showed such clear empathy. They make an incredible team, and it is rare to find this level of dedication and thorough care!
I won't be returning to see Dr. Lu. At 6 months postpartum, I came in for my annual physical and was asked what I felt to be insensitive questions about my weight and diet that felt critical and out of touch with what a postpartum woman actually needs. He felt the need to dive so far into my diet that he asked how many times a week I was eating beef vs. chicken.
