I won't be returning to see Dr. Lu. At 6 months postpartum, I came in for my annual physical and was asked what I felt to be insensitive questions about my weight and diet that felt critical and out of touch with what a postpartum woman actually needs. I've been a patient of Dr. Lu for a few years now. I walk away from every appointment feeling listened to and like I matter. He asks good questions about your concerns and gives you time to ask questions too. If he doesn't know, he'll find out and let you know. He gives you options based on your situation and lets you help guide your own treatment. He doesn't do unnecessary tests/treatments, so you know if he recommends something, it's worth doing. I am grateful to have found him and hope to be a patient for years to come.

Dr. Lu has just become my family's physician. I am really happy I found him. Interactions with him are always such a joy, he is so kind, relatable, and respectful. He informs without pressuring and I like his value for letting his patients make their own choices. Dr. Lu feels safe to be around and I really appreciate that. He is also great with babies.
