I cannot recommend Orysia Stanchak highly enough. As an out-of-town seller handling my dad's condo, I desperately needed someone with deep DC knowledge and reliable local resources and Orysia delivered on every front. She made remote communication so easy and expertly guided me through all the complex condo procedures. I especially appreciated her honest, pragmatic approach to getting the place ready. She managed staging and repairs perfectly, keeping our costs under control without sacrificing the essential updates needed t... read more
Orysia Stanchak was a life saver, helping me sell my dad's condo even though I don't live in town. She was wonderful at communicating with me throughout the sales process and I came to trust her instincts implicitly. She handled arrangements for repairs, staging, everything. I would work with her again in a heartbeat, she's a terrific real estate agent!
As a lawyer in Canada trying to sell an apartment of a deceased client, I was not familiar with the process in Washington D.C. Orysia Stanchak handled all aspects very professionally. Not only did she arrange for needed repairs, staging and all other aspects of the transaction, including dealing with the condominium corporation, municipal taxes etc. but she was always available for consultation and advice. I would highly recommend her services.
Orysia did a fantastic job helping us find a place in Bethesda. We were traveling from far away and Orysia made sure to make optimal use of our time in Maryland, devoting several weekends to our search. Once we selected a place, Orysia kept us informed about key dates, made sure we understood each document, and walked us through the entire process. I would definitely use Orysia again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a home.

She was extremely responsive and communicative and must be one of the most competent people I know. She is also tremendously knowledgeable and really advocated for me as a first-time home buyer and helped me navigate all of the very confusing and lengthy paperwork and went over it all the times I needed! I am also quite picky, and she always supported my decisions and wants without judgement. On top of ... read more
