I cannot recommend Orysia enough! She was sooooo patient with me (for years!) and insisted that I be sure and love my home. She was extremely responsive and communicative and must be one of the most competent people I know. She is also tremendously knowledgeable and really advocated for me as a first-time home buyer and helped me navigate all of the very confusing and lengthy paperwork and went over it all the times I needed! Having Orysia Stanchak as your realtor is like having your friend be your realtor if your friend is a real estate whiz. Orysia sold my condo in record time, given the sluggish market. She marshaled the fixers-uppers to highlight the best features of the condo, all the while keeping the momentum of the sale process going. It took a month from the one open house to settlement! Even so, I received two bids above the asking price.
Orysia faced a challenging situation when we met. I was not an enthusiastic shopper for a new condo, due to circumstances I was forced to leave my comfortable, modern condo in a Virginia suburb for a location closer to my daughter and son-in-law in Chevy Chase, MD. Orysia provided excellent service above and beyond the expected. Through her knowledge of the current market, building contacts, and experience we were able to get a quick offer on our condo in a very difficult market. In spite of unexpected problems, she provided solutions that resolved them. I would highly recommend her. She is not only a professional but also a friend.
Orysia was great and easy to work with. She sold one of my Washington DC properties pretty quick and was very very good with communication. She went above and beyond setting open houses and also getting my place staged by a very good company for a great price. She is not only a good realtor she has a great contacts too.
