I felt very unwelcome at this store... I returned to work and others I worked with had the same experience as me. They felt they were judged on appearance, nobody offered assistance. We all agreed we like Orvis products but this will be my first and last visit... There was a fly shop in Townsend that gave me a much more welcomed feeling while I was in town.. This is a great stop while in town if you enjoy the outdoors. My husband enjoys fly fishing and it's a great stop for supplies or just to talk to those that are knowledgeable about the sport. just purchased a new rod and reel and the girl working was originally from our rival town from back home. The employees at Orvis are very personable and just great to talk with about the outdoors and experienced with fly fishing!
Always a planned stop while in Sevierville. Quality merchandise friendly staff always anxious to help.
Great Location and staff!
Wanted to learn more about Fly Fishing and tried out one of the free Fly Fishing 101 classes. Great class, we got to practice casting for a full hour and learned about the lures/flies! The instructors were hands-on and energetic, excited to teach us.
What an OUTSTANDING staff at Orvis Sevierville! Very knowledgeable, eager to help anyone and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. My son and I are new to fly fishing, and these folks are making this journey incredibly fun!! I would encourage all outdoor loving people to go for a visit. Great stuff for your dogs too!!

After years of visiting the Smokies three times annually I visited the Orvis store for the first time over the Thanksgiving weekend. Let's just say I now have a new favorite place to shop when I visit
