Ms Ortiz is a con and a thief. On the 15th of August my grandma paid her $1800 and the next day my grandfather passed away. In the CONTRACT it states upon death of a resident, a full refund is due. As if it’s not enough that my grandmother has to deal with the death of her husband, but she now has to deal with a thief. Ms Ortiz keeps hanging up on our attorney and will not comply. Ms. Ortiz is a thief! My grandmother paid the full monthly amount of $1800 on 15th of August my grandfather passed away the next day and in the residential agreement provided by Ms. Ortiz, it states that there is a full refund upon the death of a resident. However, she will not refund my grandmothers money! This is unethical and illegal! Our family retained an attorney to handle this because she will not cooperate with our family! my poor mother lost her husband on the 16th of august. On the 15th of august she wrote a check for the month of September. This woman, Ms. Orriz, is refusing to refund the month of September! As you can imagine, she's on a tight budget and could really use the $1800.00 greedy and unethical! Please don't let your loved ones stay in any of her 5 facilities!
