I thought I had a bad battery but he did some testing and found out it was the alternator. He was able to get the part and put it in while I waited! I am new in Oregon and was dreading finding a new mechanic that I could trust. I got lucky on the 1st try! He is professional and patient, he explained things so I could understand, and his prices were very reasonable. So grateful for his help!
Edit: This is added after two years of going to Ortiz Auto Repair for both our cars and my review stands. Highly professional, excellent work. I will not take my car anywhere else. Previous review from 2022: So far, feel Mr. Ortiz and his mechanics do a great job. They’re always fair, efficient do great work and the pricing is reasonable.

The folks at Ortiz Auto Repair are honest and great at what they do! They diagnosed and repaired an issue on our SUV that involved the check engine light and the fuel system for a reasonable price when a local dealership had recommended replacing the whole gas tank assembly.
