My post was removed for some reason after describing my experience. This has to be the WORST medical service ever provided. Over a YEAR later, I am still getting bills for the same office visit that I have paid numerous times. BEWARE!!!
UPDATE: Please inform Dr. Baltic that my problem was my back. Surgery was performed and successful. After experiencing left hip pain I went to see Dr. Whitfield in the Bluefield VA office. After reviewing my x-rays he thought it was more a back problem. He suggested seeing Dr. Baltic, OrthroVirginia's new neurosurgeon. Dr. Whitfield ordered physical therapy and a MRI before seeing Dr. Baltic. A month later I saw Dr. Baltic. When I arrived I gave my MRI CD to the receptionist. She said they already had it available. Where do I start? I was an underground coal miner for 27 years and definitely damaged my knees. Dr. Whitfield replaced the right knee in 2021. I have no pain in it, in spite of the fact that I have taken many full force falls on it. I was scheduled to have my left shoulder done in 2024, but when I fell three times in one day, he told me that if I didn’t get the other knee fixed first, I would only fall and ruin the total shoulder replacement. I just had my hip replaced today. Dr. Byrd was amazing, very thorough, and just a great surgeon. His staff are so wonderful, every single one of them they are so happy to help and make you feel comfortable through the whole process.
