When I was 14 I broke my leg playing basketball and needed an emergency knee reconstruction. Legend has it, he secretly put springs in my knees enabling me to do under the leg dunks by college. still grateful to this day.

Went in for a workmans Comp shoulder injury. I will say this first, he did a great job on my shoulder but… after the surgery I’ve gone into his office many many times with complaints of major pain in my shoulder and shoulder blade region, his diagnosis was chronic pain syndrome (misdiagnosed). I know Doctors are human and make mistakes but he sees patients every day and I’m not the first with this issue. I’ve gone to my own doctor and found I have major neck issues going on 3 years later!. I saw Dr. Zimmerman for rotator cuff surgery. I had an upper tendon reattached and a inflamed biceps tendon moved to a safer spot. After four months, I am golfing again and experiencing virtually no pain. The staff was friendly and helpful. I hopefully will not have to seek his services again but if the situation is warranted, I would have no hesitation having Dr. Zimmerman do the operation.

For 8 years I had searched for an orthopedic surgeon to remove a complicated mass/cyst and although this Dr. wasn’t able to perform the kind of surgery I needed, he was kind enough to recommend another outstanding orthopedic tumor reconstruction surgeon to operate.
