Dr. Tamai takes the time necessary to explain what x-rays and MRI’s show. Then he explains your options and the pros and cons with each and lets you choose what you want to do. My belief is that his last resort to correct your issue is surgery. I’ve never felt rushed to end my appointment. He is very personable.
Excellent experience. Dr Tamai is wonderful. Very thorough and didn’t make me feel stupid for any of my questions. He explained everything so patiently and worked with me to get me in quickly and resolve my issue

Dr. Tamai is an excellent Doctor and Surgeon. I recently had arthroscopic meniscus surgery on my right knee. From our first meeting, to my pre-op appointment, to the day of surgery, and through my post operative care; Dr. Tamai has been awesome. Great bedside manner, knowledge, and overall care.
