I'm not someone who visits doctors willingly. I have a perhaps mildly unhealthy distrust of Dr's. Dr Tamai has now operated on me twice and I couldn't be happier or more comfortable with the job he's done. Amazing feels like an inadequate description. My heartfelt thanks to everyone in this practice from front desk to the staff at the surgery center. The absolute best in Fairbanks!!
Everyone who works here is caring and invested in your health. They make sure you walk out of the office knowing what to expect, answering all your questions. They don’t rush you through, they take the time to make sure you are cared for. Highly recommend!
Office staff was very efficient and awesome. Tracked down old surgical records without the usual paper requirements and back and forth. Dr. Tamai was understanding of my situation and very thorough. He explained things to me so I understood them, but without talking down to me. I was very pleased with my experience and look forward to my continuing care here.
Dr. Tamai takes the time necessary to explain what x-rays and MRI’s show. Then he explains your options and the pros and cons with each and lets you choose what you want to do. My belief is that his last resort to correct your issue is surgery. I’ve never felt rushed to end my appointment. He is very personable.
