They billed us for resetting a clavicle but never performed this procedure and refuse to remove it from the bill.
The doctors seem to know what they are doing, the surgery schedulers are fantastic, but the front office staff are generally rude - especially at the fort Walton beach office. Also, they do not know how to answer the phones - you can be on hold for over an hour with the option to have them call you back (which might happen the next day if you are lucky). It’s too bad having good doctors and crappy staff, makes me Not want to recommend anyone else to these doctors.
I would give a zero if I could, staff at the front desk is absolutely unprofessional. Orthopedic Associates was updating their system, I tried paying with my HSA card several times, made several trips 20 miles away to settle payment with Orthopedic Associates, the staff was very unprofessional and knew nothing about the new system that was implemented... Dr Dean really helped with my right knee he is thorough him and the whole staff makes you feel comfortable Also Dr Cook he is helping me with my neck back and spine I would recommend the Orthopedic ASSOCIATE to my Family and Friends
This place is 5 star for the the surgery I received! Dr. Cook did a fantastic job on my back surgery, and I would highly recommend him. As far as the administration part, zero. Everytime I go, there is a problem with missing paperwork, scheduled me for the wrong facility, we didn't transfer you over to the new system, will not return phone calls, etc. It is always an issue. I took the last 2 hours off from work for a 6 month follow up, and once again I'm not in the system. I even received an email stating that my appointment... read more
