I was told to use a machine to exercise my new knee. I can see how it would help but, for me it was holding me back. It also hurt my back and I couldn't move for 3 days without horrible pain. That is when I stopped using it and I have a bigger range of movement then I would have using the machine. I have found using the pain in my knee and to go just a little pass that has really worked. I also have built up my muscles in my leg faster.
