A big Thank you to Ortega towing for being fast and reliable. I'm from Canada traveling from Vegas to Ontario and my two behind car blew a front tire. CAA contacted AAA and got my vehicle on a flat bed within the hour. The towed my vehicle to Specrims in Armanillo Texas before they closed. Thanks again guys for the excellent service. Will definitely tell others traveling through New Mexico.
I don't have the time to say enough good things about this place! I broke down just outside of Santa Rosa on a Sunday, towing a huge horse trailer with my two mules. To say I was stressed about being stranded is an understatement. I was able to limp my truck and trailer into their parking lot and they had a mechanic to look at it. On a Sunday! If you are in need of towing services, we highly recommend Ortega Wrecker Service. Andrew was extremely helpful and calming during a very stressful time for us. During his arrival, the wind and wind gusts were at about 40-45 mph, but Andrew remained undeterred. He demonstrated no hesitation in towing our motorhome 112 miles to Albuquerque and went above and beyond by towing our enclosed trailer behind the motorhome to ease the burden on my husband towing it with our truck. Overall, a great experience.
Careful with these guys. They will overcharge you. They gave me $713 invoice just for replacing fuel filters. $500 labor + $213 filters. When I asked why labor is that much, they explained that it takes 2.5 hours to replace fuel filters… Seriously? It typically takes only 15 - 30 minutes to replace at any other shop.
