Would give more than 5 stars if Google allowed it. Family owned company and it shows. These people showed genuine care for us and were very professional. I'm a disabled veteran and I have to wear a walking boot for my foot problem for now. My pickup truck broke down late in the evening 13 miles out of Santa Rosa and my roadside assistance through my insurance told me they didn't have anyone available to tow me in. They will overcharge you for every single thing. Parts? Double, hourly rate? Double, 6min tow ride? $200. They know they're one of the only mechanics in the area, and they'll take advantage of that.
We had a friend of ours going from Arizona back to Indiana and she blew out a tire about 2 miles east of Newkirk New Mexico. We called Ortega's and they were out there within an hour to tell her back to Santa Rose and fix her Tire the next day. They dropped her off at her hotel and they picked her back up to get her car. Very very good service I highly recommend this place. Good people that want to help people. Thanks again great experience even though it was a not so fun event LOL.
We had a blow out on one of our Rv tires driving to CO from TX, however we were laying over in Santa Rosa. Luckily we had a spare to get us to SR. I called Ortega’s to see if they had one of our Rv tires, it is an unusual size. They did not, would have to order it, however Roberta said she would call around SR to see if anyone did have one. She called back, there was not one in SR, and asked what direction we were taking to CO. She called back again and had found one at Jr’s in Moriarty!
