My faith is the biggest part of my life, and I believe in incorporating it into my practice. I believe that God has given us awesome tools to help the body through physical ailments. More importantly, however, I believe in God's eternal peace to walk through the storms of life and turn all things for good. I love to connect with my patient's on an emotional level and provide empathetic care.

Last year, my mom had to have a very difficult surgery. Dr. Orr explained everything about what she had and what would probably happen. I have never met another doctor that took the time not only to talk to me but who also fought hard for her life. Because of his first surgery, we were able to spend A few more months with Mom. I will always be forever grateful for the extra time we had with her because of what he done for her. Dr. Orr, Thank You truly.

After this MD completed two GI scopes due to a sudden GI issue I was given a surprising and shocking diagnosis. At the follow up appointment when I questioned about the prognosis and what I was to expect, his attitude was indifferent and his reply was 'I don't know', and he told me to go see a specialist. I was shocked and had a couple of questions such as diet and what to do until I could get into a specialist, but he was already quickly going out the door with his nurse following. The follow up visit with the diagnosis las... read more
Friendly front desk staff, however the doctor was rushed and impatient. Following scopes, MD did not answer any of my questions about his opinion of my startling and new diagnosis. Simply referred to another MD and rushed out of room.
He is very professional and caring and a very good surgeon all-around very knowledgeable...I wish he hadn't left IU ball memorial Hospital
Terrible experience. Dr Orr was very rude and un-professional. Would not recommend to anyone!
I would consider patients need a great general surgeon I would recommend him he's the best
Very knowledgeable, and professional. And I also need loved the kindness I received from all the nurses
