My appointment was pushed back by an hour and a half with two hours notice. I got there and he was not ready I had to wait 15 minutes. No discounts were given barely an apology. He took a break to eat and talk on the phone. After service was done (which took six hours) he had me pay over PayPal. Then got mad I didn't choose friends and family to get to his money faster. Absolutely perfect sew in by Yojanse! I bought hair from him that matches my texture perfectly, immaculate and flat braid down. I will not go to any other stylist in NYC like its really that serious
I hope this review reaches who it needs to— Yojanse is single handedly one of the best hair designers/ stylists/ artists in NYC. I JUST left the salon 2 minutes ago and couldn’t write a review soon enough. He did a traditional sew in and layers and it’s the best cut ever. The FLATTEST braids I’ve ever had. I’m so so so impressed, and already scheduling my next appt. Def worth a visit
I was first introduced to this hair salon and Yojansej through a viral tictok. That was in August of 2025, since then I've been back every 4-6 weeks best sew-in ever ! Customer service is great! Quiet salon, very professional! & I travel from Suffolk County LI to come to Brooklyn to get my hair did!
I had such a great experience at this salon! Yojanse did my hair and he was absolutely amazing. He’s professional, very skilled, and has great attention to detail. From start to finish he made me feel comfortable and I could tell the staff genuinely cared about the health of my natural hair, which is really important to me.
