Hand made jewellery and greenstone carving right at the centre of Auckland. We sell New Zealand greenstone crafted pendants and sculptural pieces. Established in 2001 we are a small team of jewellers, artisans and carvers led by Ernesto Ovalle.

Brilliant service from the other side of the world! I managed to break the cords on both my Hei Matau. Found Ernesto and team, sent the items, immediate dialogue on best option for replacement, swift return. And they are better than original. Back round my neck. Brilliant

Came to Oronegro with the initial intention to have a few pieces re-chorded and was considering options for gifts for family. As soon as I walked in the quality and craftsmanship spoke for its self—quite loudly. Ernesto is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and sincere (living up to his name). I couldn’t be happier. Go here. His shop is a taonga in and of itself.
