3.5 hours work for $2800? I believe it was a rip-off price. I had a shower valve needs to be replaced. Since it was a old value, Oro pro technician suggested to replace with their brand, leading to me to pay $2500 to get the new one after I negotiated with the manager. The technician came for 3.5 hours and finished the job. I later found that the average cost to replace the valve is around $900 (you can google or ChatGPT on it). Oro Pro replaced our pipes and updated a gas line. They were really professional. Quick to respond and complete the work. Very good communication throughout the process.
I've had Oro Pro do work for me in the past- and it has always been great. Today was an especially helpful response from them- my ancient water main pipe sprung a leak just before it was joined to the work that Oro Pro had done for me about 6 months ago. I called them and explained the problem- it was certainly not their fault that my galvanized had sprung a leak- and they'd recommended its replacement previously.
