Came across this gem while attending a rehearsal dinner a few months back. The food and drinks were PHENOMENAL, so I knew I had to come back. I have always loved going to Oro for their amazing cocktails, the dollar oysters on Wednesdays and their Misto Del Mar. But I just hosted my mother‘s 90th birthday with a luncheon at Oro. I cannot say enough good things! Tatum was wonderful to deal with from the very beginning. Great communicator and super attentive. Great cocktails! Excellent fish & chips. Oysters on the half.
Now we know why the main dinning room was half empty at 6:30 on a Saturday nite (April 11th 2026) whereas all other Resteraunts in Scitute had a 60-90 minute waiting line. Let's start with the oysters, at $24 for half a dozen the actual oyster size was the size of a quarter (at best) very disappointing. I asked our waitress where the oyster came from and she said Duxbury and I asked what farm and she didn't know. You would think management would educate their wait staff.
