I have been under the care of Dr. Avitzur for more than 14 years, first for migraines and later for back pain and vertigo. She is always up to date on how to treat my neurological issues, is an excellent listener, and always presents a great plan of action to address them. Her recommendations have always borne out to be the best course of action for me.

I was in a workers comp case for 4 years, have short term memory loss, and more issues, i missed one appointment was told i had to pay a 60 dollar fee for missing the appointment. I paid it and was ghosted by dr avitzur. Left countless messages and can show proof of payment through bank check reciept. Horrible office and horrible communication. When i brought it up to my attorney they said i didnt have to pay that as workers comp insurance would of covered it.

When I met with Dr Avitur I was likely a bit more nervous than I thought. She was simply asking me question and I became flustered and rudely said I was leaving. She quickly calmed me with kind words and sound advice and I agreed to proceed. Dr. Avitzur explained every part of the procedure and what to expect in such a way I can honestly say I am not sure how painful or how long it was.
