I am an African American RN and I went into the store on yesterday after work to buy tea for my daughter-in-law. I walked into the store, which was a beautiful shop. The person in the store never greeted me, never asked if he could assist me with anything. He just kept his head down and kept doing whatever he was doing. I had picked up some items that I wanted to get,but decided that since I was being ignored, I decided to not spend my money there, so I walked out to find another tea store.
Best place in Orlando to try new tea blends! There’s a tea of the day you can sample for free. They also brew samples for a low cost in store. I love doing this so I can try the teas before committing to a purchase. Great service and conversations here too.
I had a delicious iced tea blend called paper cranes -it was SO good with the honey syrup mixed in. I bought the Belle’s Library Tea Blend, the R2TEA2 Tea Blend, and the Swamp Puppy Peach (and they have so many cute mugs). They have a daily tea blend you can sample, all kinds of thank you cards and birthday cards, tea themed and apothecary pots and planters, kitchen towels, candles. Quite a variety of tea from all over the place, incl. places you don't typically associate with teas. Smells are free and the owner is very knowledgable and friendly. They sell tea to drink there as well. The store is otherwise neutral-smelling, unoffensive, and clean with cute decor. In addition to tea, they also sell tea books, snacks to eat with tea, teapots, and other miscellaneous tea-related things.
