To have to communicate through a web portal for medical care is beyond ridiculous. It is shameful. One phone call today could have saved a lot of time, gotten real answers and know 100% that my doctor knows what is going on and what I need. I now will go to a walk in clinic for help tomorrow and actually be able to speak to a doctor and get bloodwork done. Whoever is making these corporate decisions needs to resign. And why is my doctor always so booked and unavailable? Oh I guess it’s a numbers game.
Not bad in 2021, when I lived in Orlando, but now in 2025???? I currently live in Vero Beach, and OH acquired a local orthopedics practice. What a huge disappointment including I am in pain and cannot communicate with my Dr. You dial the local number and end up at a call center that THEN sends a message to the practice, and from there it dies. No response. Have been at his now a month and I repeat am in physical discomfort. Deplorable!
Florida Medical Clinic is owned by Orlando Health. I found the staff at Florida Medical made it a nightmare to receive a copy of my medical records.
The phone system you have for Orlando Health and Rehabilitation Center which is under your umbrella is absolutely inexcusable. Pre and post hurricane nothing has changed. Yesterday 18 phone calls to talk to a human, the first 17 resulted in disconnects and hang ups. Yes they pick up the ringing phone and hang up on you. Today I got a human, was transferred to Social Services where the phone rang for 30 minutes. No answer, no voice mail. They do not offer an email directory or any way to leave a message. This medical group/compound/conglomerate needs to put patient first and get a reality education. There are some really nice and competent doctors there, like Dr Martin, Dr Snell, Dr Supler, but the overall practice of Orlando Health is a joke. Dr Neelu Dhingra is one of the most insulting disrespectful doctors in the neurology division, DO NOT SEE HER, you will regret it.
