I scheduled an appointment with this office for a consultation and a root canal immediately following. On the morning of the appointment I tried calling because I hadn't heard from them...normally medical and dental professions send text message reminders or sometimes a phone call to confirm upcoming appointments. Watch.Your.Billing. Papers that you sign tell patient there is an addt'l. $20. PPE fee that is up to the patient to pay. Delta Dental will not pay this, nor should the patient be billed for this (i verified w/Delta). Additionally, they are charging for fees over and above the EOB and not originally billed to the insurance company. Insisting it is still owed. NOT. If a different determination comes down from Delta, i will be happy to pay.
