My Brother-in-Law was fortunate to live at Orion Star for about 10+ years. Our family looked for several weeks to find a great space where he would be taken care of medically and emotionally. Orion Star was highly recommended by a medical professional. The care he received was excellent, as well as the emotional support he received. Wonderful, family atmosphere, where my brother-in-law lived the last three years of his life. One of 2-3 caregivers is there round the clock with the four male residents, providing watchful oversight, medication administration, meals and snacks, assistance with ADLs and hygiene, laundry, intervention in medical emergencies (which he had several times as a result of a chronic illness), friendship and hugs.
