I worked with Orion Modern Designs on a mid-century home purchase in Redmond, WA. Their vision and design plans for the space blew my expectations out of the water. With the budget implemented, the results were astonishing. With refreshed floors, opening up the kitchen, removing an outdated fireplace to create more livable and efficient space, the vision was executed beautifully. We had a few chances to discuss with Orion Modern Designs about our future remodeling plans for our kitchen and back yard. Shanta was always enthusiastic in suggesting different ideas to make our kitchen more open concept with modern appliances. e.g. Her suggestion for having a recessed handle with the refrigerator in a cramped space was great. Suggestion for having a peninsula in the kitchen was another example. Her suggestion for having a pergola in the backyard was a nice idea to make the deck usable in Seattle weather. I... read more
