I had one of the worst experiences of my life here. I was in obscene pain from a kidney stone for 6 hours here without ANY pain medication or help at all. I’ve had kidney stones several times and came in telling them exactly what was going on. I understand being busy and understaffed but the 4 stones I passed before this one I was seen almost immediately and given pain meds while I waited. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
The staff were caring and attentive — nurses made sure patients were comfortable and informed at every step. The ER was busy but well-managed, and the triage process felt organized. The facility is clean, bright, and easy to navigate, with clear signage and a welcoming atmosphere. Parking is right on-site and reasonably convenient. The doctors took time to explain things in detail, which made the whole experience less stressful. Overall, it’s a well-run hospital that combines professionalism with genuine compassion.
OSMH is a Great hospital to have your baby at! The nurses on the maternal floor are all awesome & really care for you & your newborn. My newborn had to go to the NICU & the nurses working there are also very fantastic & really include you in updates. I highly recommend going here to have your baby!
My family and I were up north for a cottage trip and unfortunately one of us had to make an ER trip for chest pain. The triage was quick and efficient. It took no more than 20 minutes for them to do bloodwork and an ECG. Renee and Cassandra were especially kind. Cassandra came to check up every 30 minutes or so and kept us updated on what was happening.
