I have never been so disgusted in my life went to hospital 3 weeks after hysterectomy with heavy bleeding and weakness .. was written a script and told call my family doctor , drove to Barrie hospital immediately after to find out I have internal bleeding and require immediate surgery .. the lack of care they displayed and zero seriousness to the situation is disgusting! Never again will I go to this hospital ..
Just wanted to give a huge shoutout today for Simcoe County Paramedics and all nurses staff and Drs in the ER at Orillia Soldiers Memorial . Had an episode today where emergency surgery was required to remove very very painful cyst. Thanks again everyone!
The most attentive person at this hospital was part of the cleaning staff. The decline of the hospital is evident in the amount of disrepair. walls destroyed in every room bathrooms out of service unsanitary conditions everywhere you look. My husband went to the ER at 9am with sever abnormal pain, in the amount of time he was waiting his appendix perferated and even after they knew it had perferated it still took an additional 2+ hours after that before he was taken to surgery at 6pm. Worst experience ever asked a nurse a question and she was rude and ignorant towards me ... yous except respect from people coming to the hospital but can't give the same respect back worst place ever
They will ask you a minimum of a dozen times not to be late,then let you sit in an empty hall for,well it's been an hour already and they haven't even acknowledged I'm alive,but watch when I asked for help how I'm gaslighted ,it's all my fault as they head out for lunch
