Just a basic club really. Nothing fancy or anything crazy being offered. Low end experience basically. The past review mentioned the club needed a massive shake up. I would say allot of the old executive have left but John Copp is now the head of huronia so that's just as bad, he almost killed Orillia lighting so now kill off huronia. Maybe in 5 more years the club will come around but it's still suffering from past executive.
I've been involved in this club for 15 years. It is a quality club. Membership is growing, equipment and fields are best in the area. They have more travel and recreational teams than any other within 30 minutes of Orillia. They train their referees well, pay the volunteer coaches for taking courses, and have a really strong entry level program. Registration fees are low, relative to just about any other sport. Always looking for new board members to help out.
PLEASE READ before joining I'm not sour I'm just telling the truth on ODS so you know what your getting into....I give it 1 star based on allot of experience with the club, this club is like most in orillia you will find the executive members reffing games and making money yet no involvement by the board to help unless $ changes hands . The club isn't putting any money into developing the orillia soccer program the executive are old men supplying no name cheap uniforms, cheap 5 year old beat up balls and not enough balls for... read more
