Original Rainbow Cone Inc is not so bad Took the kids to the original rainbow for ice cream couple of weeks ago. It was alright, the ice cream was god and the mixes (that they mix in front of you) were good as well. There are a lot of teenagers working there but when I went with the kids they worked. One of the best in the business of creamery! This is truly a wonderful place to go to! They have so many great flavors to choose from and they are very friendly and family oriented in here.
Chicagoland "must see" A Chicagoland institution for decades, The Original Rainbow Cone is a must-go for everyone at least once in their lives! The namesake cone is a stack of slabbed ice cream in orange sherbet, pistachio, Palmer House, strawberry and chocolate flavors.
Original Rainbow Cone Inc service is not good I have been to the Original Rainbow for ice cream on several occasions and both times the service was horrilbe. They have two many teenagers working there and all they do is joke and play with each other when they should be taking customers orders. The shakes and ice cream cones were pretty good but I couldn't seem to get pass the service. So, I wouldn't recommend this place because the service is no up to par and they could be pricey.
