Everyone kept recommending this place, but the food was just OK and service wasn't great. Ordered the Portuguese sausage and eggs - the eggs and hashbrowns were good but sausage was too salty. Also, our waitress (Mary Ellen) kept coming by the table to take our order and would then leave suddenly to check the counter for someone else's order. She was nice enough but was too distracted. Avalon is a very relax town. The place has people waiting when we got there. We ordered crab cake Benedict and it was very good. A lot of crab meat. Also, try the Hawaiian French toast. This place serves Kona coffee. Just make you feel like in Hawaii without flying over there.
