I went to get a haircut and I told the barber I want a low taper slick back and when the haircut was finished he cut it so short that I can't do a slick back and messed up on the low taper on the sides.

Oh hell no. If this is the place in Norco. I tried to make appointment for my husband. The IG website was jacked up and only went to a merchant site. I called the number but apparently I called the wrong # . I made appointment fir that day. We showed up and there was one guy working on a client. When I tried to explain we had appointment..yadda yadda, he cut me off, didn't let me finish. Said I called the wrong place ( um duh). I was growing my hair for a long time and wanted to get a nice mullet. I called in and asked them if they had somebody experienced enough and they told me that all their guys were capable enough to cut my hair the way I wanted to. When the Barber asked me what I wanted I told him that I wanted a trim and maintain the length.
