Purchased a 1996 Toyota Mark II from Pablo a few weeks back. The car has a very misleading build list, and least to not say " built by a reputable shop" is far from true. The car has a HTG DCT swap, which is not smooth by any means. Can not get any support from Adam (tuner for the DCT GCU) or HTG. The car can not go past 4.5k RPM without feeling like it is hitting a wall. Was fortunate to randomly come across this place. I entrusted pablo to build my 71 240z to become the crazy wild car it is today. 2jz w/ t56 swap, compound turbo, and now dct. Everything has been custom tailored and engineered. Theyve completed an entire subframe removal. 2jz with a t56. I have now converted to gs7 dct. OriginalAuto took care of the engine when I snapped my timing. The team got it repaired and running well. Also got a lot of much needed upgrades to the engine in which has been a life saver for the car to perform perfectly. Been enjoying driving my r32 weekly. Glad to represent a shop that has taken care of my r32 to get running in tip top shape.
Original Auto helped me build my GS430. They custom built a turbo kit for the 3uz, wired in a standalone Maxxecu, and dropped in a DCT transmission; along with a bunch of other requests like custom 1 piece drive shaft, LSD, bits here and there. The communication was great sending pictures, questions, etc. On a daily basis throughout the build. They truly helped build a one of a kind Lexus. (Edit): I am happy to see that I got a response from the business, maybe they are making an attempt to improve. But the fact is that my experience is real, the work was done to my 2002 Lexus IS300 and was supposed to be something as simple as a turbo kit install and ended up costing close to 30k in receipts. I dealt solely with Chris and still have his phone number and address because I sometimes I would pick up the car from his house.
