I thought I was having a miscarriage. Dr. Fausett was very calm and reassuring when I told him the situation. He was able to see that I had a hemorrhage and sensitively discussed with me what we could do moving forward. I felt much needed comfort from that visit. Things worked out just fine and Dr. Fausett and the Roots midwives were able to monitor the baby well. I healed up just fine with no issues. Words can’t express the level of care I received with Dr. Fausett and his care team. I’ve never met a doctor who is so educated, calm, collected and genuinely cares about each and every patient. He takes the time to know you individually and makes sure all of your concerns are answered. I never felt rushed out of a visit or as if I wasn’t being heard. At my anatomy scan appointment, I was told by the NP that my baby was in the 14th percentile for body weight. I had a miscarriage earlier this year so naturally this was scary to hear. We had a long conversation with her about what this meant, if my baby was at risk for stillbirth, and whether my baby would need to go to the NICU at birth, etc. But then I found out from my OB a week later that the report Dr. Fausett sent over showed a birth weight in the 44th percentile.
