Are you sure it came from the store in CT? I ask bc the owner usually packs items himself & is very meticulous. There is another site called Oriental Furniture, a live call center person answers the phone & you can be easily deceived. Ensure you’re buying your items from the brick & mortar store in Norwalk, CT. I live in SC & have decorated my home with many pieces. If I have an issue, in my case 1 piece of mother-of-pearl was cracked during shipping on a large king headboard, the problem was resolved in a few days.
