Additional response to the reply- I don’t believe that for a second, the car was whole, and had only stopped running that week, as discussed over the phone. The guy that came to collects it was smug and said well you can take the $450 or I’ll just go. In hind sight I should have let him leave. Negotiated a price over the phone of $500 knowing that the car wasn't running. Was told that its $500 cause that the scrap price, then when they get there he is now renegotiating the price at pick up down to $450. We had that same $500... read more
