My glasses broke when they sent my frames to get new lenses. The frames were brought from Orewa optics 3 years prior and were not cheap. In my entire life of wearing glasses this has never happened to me. I was told that I was up for the cost of new frames and they had to be in a different colour because my colour was no longer available. Last year, one of my nose pads on my glasses was missing, so I went here and bought a pair from them. The service is very good and the people are nice. I was charged $10 for it, which is not much for me. So I just paid without saying anything. Later my wife told me it was too expensive and I have to say I suddenly realized that they are the most expensive basic nose pads that I have ever heard in my life. If I ever get an more expensive pair somewhere else, I could possibly change it to 4 stars, then.
Have been using Orewa Optics for my eye exams since I was 5. Grant Dabb has always been an amazing optometrist - very informative, patient and professional. Petra, Angela, and the rest of the team in the front area are also exceptionally helpful. The prices of frames can be a little eye-watering, but it reflects the quality of the frames and service you receive.
