Walked into this auto parts store looking for a spare tire tool kit—a basic, specific item. The young man behind the counter looked at me like I’d asked for directions to Mars. Then he tried to sell me car lifts. Excuse me? Lifts? I’m trying to put my spare tire under the truck, not launch it into orbit. Apparently, the moment you walk in with a purse and a ponytail, your automotive IQ drops to zero in their eyes.
