VERY helpful staff. I went on prepared to purchase a new car battery. I wasn't totally sure it was bad but wanted to play it safe. I did my own research for style, price, etc. And chose O'Reilly. The manager wouldn't let me buy it until he brought out the battery meter to test my car. It confirmed my "guesswork ". I really appreciated the extra time spent. It told me they care about the customer. Thanks guys.
Good deal on parts
I came to O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Pittsboro in dire need of professional assistance on Friday, November 14, 2025. I was welcomed by Kurt Henderson who was exceptionally knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to get me the parts for 2 of my vehicles that were in the parking lot. This past Friday was definitely one for the books when it comes to random vehicle misfortune. This is in response to Luma’s entry. There is a restaurant directly behind the store and we have people constantly parking in the delivery driver and employee parking area. The main entrance to the store is on the other side of the building. So when we saw someone parked there, we assumed it was for the restaurant. All other customers park in the front of the store because the back is a restricted area. Our apologies to those customer.
One of the employees was blocking the entrance in with their truck. We pulled in another way, into a spot that said OREILLYS CUSTOMER PARKING and the employee pulled up behind us just to tell us we couldn't park there. Guess we weren't customers then and they can put their vehicle wherever they please. Horrible service. Wouldn't even go inside after such a horrible interaction. Went to the AutoZone next door. Much better.
