I have never gone home with the correct part on the first try. If I actually went home with the right part on the first trip, I would probably be too shocked to perform the repairs.
I was working in the area making deliveries and my headlight went out on my truck so I made it to O'Reilly a few minutes before closing and purchased a headlight bulb and a connector to replace the burnt one. I barely made it to my truck before the employees were locking up for the night.
