Our 1999 Honda runs through batteries and other shops always say "battery tests dead so you need another." The last two times, O'Reilly techs had better solutions. This most recent time, Hunter said "it tests fine but the connection is loose around the post." First time anyone pointed out this long-standing issue. He grabbed a $5 shim and put it in place so that the loose connection no longer happens and it's been perfect ever since!
I wish I could give a 10 star review! After leaving work, I stopped for gas. My battery died. I felt certain the battery was on its last leg. I arrived at O'REILLY Auto at 852 PM (after being turned away by a competitor down the street).Hunter greeted me and asked how he could help. With my vehicle running, I explained my situation. He looked at the time, he looked at me, and proceeded to help with a battery replacement and installation. I’d like to say the biggest mistake this store in Clemson made was letting the manager Sam go to another store they replace him with a manager. I’ve had a couple of runs with her. I’ve called on the phone. I asked for certain employees. I was there a day prior, and they were helping me and did not want to go through the whole spill of what I was doing and what I was needing, so when I asked if the employees That helped me yesterday was working , she told me they were not working went up to the store they are working.
