I was referred to an attorney who shortly after was featured in an article in the Oregonian stating that he was a danger to the public. This attorney advised me to not attend or call into a very important court date stating that he would utilize my absence as extra leverage to ask for a continuance, he then did not appear or call in resulting in a default judgement that has caused irreparable harm to my case. I received an illegal Request for Production and filed a complaint and Daniel Atkinson dismissed it without seeing the glaring problem. It seems there may be severe competency issues involved in the complaint process with the Oregon State Bar 🥲
After 3 wrong referrals, the 4th lawyer has no decency to even respond. I find this service useless and a waste of taxpayers money. I feel like there should be a system that one can report lawyers that are unresponsive so they get kicked off the referral list.
The State of Oregon protects big $$$ companies (semiconductor) from 1. wrongful termination 2. Workplace discrimination 3. Defamation a character Don't waste your time here.
