Mike Joki's team are the best physical therapists I found; I tried seven. I am still doing the home exercises Mike gave me 20 years ago. He put thought into them. I can stand and walk. I am grateful.

I was referred to Physical Therapy at Timberhill and I was lucky enough to get Michael Joki as my therapist. He is a highly skilled therapist who worked with me to get me back to my daily walks after a long bout (6 months)with pain in my lumbar spine. I thought I was too old and the arthritis was too far progressed to get past the pain. But through strengthening and stretching and some heat treatments over a few weeks time I found that the exercises are just what I needed and will continue to do them to stay in condition and... read more

I went to OPT with two goals: 1) To get some relief for the pain all over my back. Neck pain had made me hold my body in a way that ended up making more “pinchy nervy “ pain spots all over my back! 2) Nearly as importantly my other goal was to learn some new machine exercises I could do to strengthen my neck, back and shoulders – in the hope of preventing future pain episodes. (I do better with machines vs. body movements like Pilates.) Even though Mike seemed to feel we should spend a bit longer on the massages to loosen up... read more

I can't speak highly enough about Mayron. She is always able to figure out how to deal with my back, knee, and other structural issues. Just when I'm ready to give up because nothing I try works, with her common sense attitude she figures out a program of treatment that really works! I am amazed as her treatments have truly been miraculous for me. She's wonderful!

I've now been here three times for various conditions, and each time was practically miraculous! Both Kathy and May Ron have helped me immensely, both guiding me through exercise routines and dealing with the exact condition for which the doctor prescribed help. The pool therapy was also very important, as it strengthened my back & other muscles. I went from practically catatonic to fine to work full-time again in several months! This place is great!
