I had my appointment with Dr. Balm today. He was a true professional : competent, caring, informative, and knowledgeable. He took the necessary time to explain what he was doing and why. He answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. I highly recommend him !!! PS : His staff and assistant were also helpful and most considerate.

Dr. Balm is actually a good doctor. He is good with EMG and diagnosis. He misread me in some frustrating ways, and I wish we could have sorted that out. I wish he explored the reasons behind my dizziness and leg weakness further, instead of assuming them to be psychogenic. It was hurtful, but he did not have enough information at that time to understand that my concerns were real. I'm okay now because I have the answers, and it didn't really hurt me to wait a year to find them out.
