I could not see my regular doctor for months so I went to Westmoreland. Dr Rankin was the physician I talked with, I showed him several pictures of the boils on my mouth in hopes that he could prescribe medication for an extremely painful experience. He looked at all the pictures and said “I can’t deal with that!” No recommendation for tests or suggestions for another doctor who could “deal with that!” I have never been to a doctor who would not help me! SAD.
I was a patient at this office for 50 years, been going here since I was born. My 1st doctor after seeing him for 20 years retired & then my 2nd doctor retired after 30 years of seeing him. And my husband & all my kids saw same 2nd Doctor. Despite many horror stories about OMG services, I have been trying to find a way and stay with OMG,. I selected a new doctor at OMG and despite long delays for appointment, it was working OK. I recently received a letter that my doctor is leaving OMG and asked me to contact them for future steps. After being with OMG for 20+ years am leaving. Optum have ruined this once great practice.
The wait period for my primary care doctor is just shy of three months. I was offered a second doctor but on the same day three months out. Gee, thanks. Now I have to go to their germ factory, the Urgent Care office, where the patients are having a coughing contest. I'd rate Westmoreland a one, but when I get in, my doctor is great. I want to see my Primary care because we have already talked about my problem and the problem has gotten worse.
