I’m disappointed by their decision to start billing patients for routine phone calls. Things that were once considered the doctors job are now being billed for and I’m getting multiple charges for questions for follow up after appointments or for having the audacity to message about a medication allergy I developed. It’s not the patients’ fault that they are bleeding money for failing to keep a good chunk of their providers. I recently visited an urgent care to address a possible medical issue, and at first, everything seemed to be going well. The receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming, which helped put me at ease. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have to wait very long before being called in to see the doctor. My husband went into the urgent care yesterday for two separate issues. 1. Severe pain and muscle spasms 2. A yellow jacket sting that was obviously not okay. After FIVE HOURS he was told to do labs. Labs dont show muscles, injuries, or berve damage. The doctor said "everything's normal. Stop working so hard" and sent him home. Well, he ultimately decided to go to the ER for the sting. I am so disappointed with my care here and they really shouldn’t handle workers comp issues. Between them not applying the money workers comp had already paid and still trying to charge me and the doctors actual care being minimal and backtracking. I won’t be back no matter the situation. It was so bad it’s made me stop going to Oregon medical group as a whole. ZERO STARS They've absolutely ruined my mom's took her off of one medication after another, these are meds she's been on for 20 plus years mind you. Now all she does sit in a recliner in her house she is like a shell of her former self, unable to even walk because of her pain I don't know when OMG was purchased by United Healthcare but they go by the name of Optum now and it is a subsidiary of United Healthcare so that's why the care has suffered doctors have quit & been let go from the practice left and right I would not r... read more
