The ride is only 30 minutes one way and then 30 minutes back the same way you came, but that is exactly what they promise on their site. For the short amount of time that you are on the train, The views are phenomenal.
The ride was fantastic. The narrations and stories were delightful. Each direction highlighted different historical aspects of the region making both directions fresh and new. We had table seating. I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the area. We opted for extra time in Garibaldi so took some time walking around seeing the exterior of the old trains, then walking to the boat docks, observed the fish cleaning station, and discovered the Sea Barron food truck across the street. This was one of our favorite activities in the area. It was so beautiful! Delany the office manager also very kindly helped me with a booking issue. Highly recommend!
This was an awesome experience! The conductor was very informative of everything we were seeing and the ride itself was smooth and enjoyable. We learned a lot about the whole area and even got to see a bald eagle in the tree. Great for all ages!
