Fun trip for the family!
An excellent way to add some variety to your leisure time. We sat in an open-air carriage, and it was a wonderfully peaceful, unhurried ride that allowed us to view a familiar route from a fresh perspective.
Very pleasant and interesting train ride. Unfortunately, the narrator kept losing track of what she wanted to say, and by the time she recovered, we were long past what was being described. It's still a good value for a few hours of fun. UPDATE: We returned and they did a great job. The narrator was funny and informative and was on top of the highlights. The rest of the crew was polite, friendly and efficient. Definitely worth the time.
What a lovely way to see parts of the Oregon Coast that aren’t easily seen from the highway. The weather was beautiful and sunny. We took our pups with us and sat in the covered outside cabin. They were a little frightened of the train horn but seemed to settle down and enjoy the ride. We were surprised at how many people were in line for the train.
