Pool is ok but very limited lap lane hours. The yoga instructor needs to be replaced. She spends at least 1/3 of the class talking about self absorbed stories of her personal life. Eg, started a recent class with the declaration that she is "so hung over as she got really drunk last night". I want a yoga class to stretch, not to be her therapist. Unsafe lifeguarding protocols. Clackamas County Health cited the pool several years ago for improper safety procedures. The management changed it for a bit, then reverted back. Since then, the situation has become even worse. Someone is going to be seriously hurt and the Oregon City government will be liable as they have prior knowledge of the problems and refuses to rectify them. The pool administrator needs to be replaced as she is the main violator.

The wading pool is the part that my family uses most regularly. They have ruined it this year. I'm so tired of hearing the (way too many) lifeguards yell at all the kids to stop playing. My kids are so uncomfortable being monitored and nervous that they'll get yelled at that they just wind up sitting in the water, not playing at all. The lifeguards are surprisingly intense and rude. It's all really sad, we miss our pool. Next year we'll just go to the river more instead.
